Every year since 2014, on the occasion of International Cancer Day<\/a> (February 4, 2024) and International Childhood Cancer Day<\/a> (February 15, 2024), we launch a major campaign across the country. awareness of childhood cancers.<\/p>\n Our goal: to mobilize and raise awareness, with your help, of millions of French people thanks to the story of Louise, a young warrior who brings you into her life!<\/p>\n Throughout the month of February 2024, find our awareness campaign against pediatric cancers on television, in the cinema<\/a>, in the press, in the street<\/a> or on your favorite sites thanks to the generosity of the French media and the loyal support of our Mindshare partner.<\/p>\n You too can become an actor in this awareness campaign against childhood cancer by sharing our visuals and Louise’s story with your loved ones, your colleagues or simply on your social networks. Every year, an estimated 400,000 young people are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. There are 100 types of pediatric cancers, different from cancers in adults, which therefore require adapted treatments. However, the lack of funding and synergies are an obstacle to research in pediatric oncology.<\/p>\n In Europe, cancer research<\/strong><\/a> is mainly focused on adult cancers, <\/strong>with pediatric cancers being considered rare diseases. This year, participants will mobilize for new programs resulting from the Fight Kids Cancer<\/a> call for projects. These will be announced in June 2024.
