Unlike adult cancers, childhood and adolescent cancers are rare diseases, which limits pharmaceutical investment. Without the support of associations like ours and without your generosity, research cannot progress.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2358\" data-end=\"2437\"><strong data-start=\"2358\" data-end=\"2437\">Funding research: the only hope to cure more children, and cure them better<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2439\" data-end=\"2728\">Today, around 80% of children with cancer in France survive. An encouraging figure, but it also means that one in five children will not. Moreover, survivors often face significant long-term effects from current treatments: growth problems, cognitive disorders, risks of secondary cancers\u2026<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2730\" data-end=\"2909\">Our mission is clear: to fund innovative research protocols that develop targeted therapies \u2014 less toxic and more effective.
