Friday may 24th, more than 1 000 runners gathered in La Défense to run and support research on childhood cancer.
Thanks to their active fundraising, 230,000€ have been collected for the pioneering research program BIOMEDE IA. This program is run by Dr Jacques GRILL, pediatric oncologist at Gustave Roussy Hospital: it focuses on diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, an incurable pediatric cancer with one of the worst prognosis.
More than 30 companies of the business district, but also individuals from the neighborhood of La Défense, joined this charitable move in support of children with cancer.
The number of participants doubled since 2018, making this second edition of the Children without Cancer City race a fantastic achievement!
