Childhood cancer

Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children and teenagers in France and in Europe.

There are 100 types of children’s cancers that are different from those found in adults, and as such cannot be treated in the same manner. Nevertheless, pediatric cancers are considered as rare diseases by the industrialists; this is why very few specific medication are developed for children with cancers.

The story of Louise
Discover Louise's story, her first steps, her first day at school, her first friends, her first mistake, and especially her first fight. Like Louise, every year, 2,500 children and teenagers are diagnosed with cancer in France.

Every year in France, we conduct a large national awareness campaign thanks to the tremendous generosity of the French medias that offer us free space. Broadcasted on television, in movie theaters, on billboards, in the press and on the internet, our annual multimedia awareness campaign allows us to make millions of French people aware of our cause.

The urgency to act

The lack of funds and synergies are restriction on pediatric oncology research. The researchers need more and more funds to better understand pediatric cancers and better cure them. The researchers must get together more often and coordinate their actions to find impacting means to accelerate the research and take it to a higher level.

With the Children without Cancer races that we organize every year in Saint Cloud and Paris La Defense, we have collected over 14 million euros for research since 2012. Furthermore, the numerous events organized by our volunteers and ambassadors throughout France allow us to gather funds to help us to fight against childhood cancer.

Since the creation of Imagine for Margo, we enlist and federate the research stakeholders in France and Europe all year round, by actively participating in conventions, conferences, work groups and at our FAST seminar at the Senate in Paris that we organize every year in February.
