Imagine for Margo has been working closely with Professor Gilles VASSAL since 2012:
- as part of the partnership with the European Consortium of Researchers ITCC – Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer – which he chairs
- as part of the European platform ACCELERATE whose objective is to accelerate innovation in pediatric oncology. He chairs ACCELERATE
- as part of the mobilization actions of the SIOPE of which he is a Past President
- in the context of scientific publications
Gilles VASSAL is a pediatrician, oncologist and pharmacologist and a professor of medical oncology at Paris XI University. He focuses his research on the development of new treatments for children and adolescents with cancer.
He is the former President of SIOPE Europe (the European Society for Pediatric Oncology) and is now chairman of the European ITCC network (Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer) for the development of new treatments for children.
As a member of several scientific councils and learned societies, he is also an expert on the EMA (Europeans Medicines Agency).
He is the author of more than 210 scientific publications.
