203,000 euros donated to make Research advance.
It is difficult to find the right words to describe what we have lived together this 23 September 2012… A day full of emotion, solidarity, shared impulse and generosity…
600 participants, 104 teams, 3500 donors, all engaged to collect funds to get started as soon possible the European clinical trial on low-grade gliomas, the brain tumour the most frequent in children.
This 23 September, we have been able to give Pr Gilles Vassal and Dr Jacques Grill a magnificent cheque of 203,000 euros.
Do be aware that your support will facilitate the access for children with cancer to new drugs, within the framework of therapeutic trials, and the precise evaluation of results in terms of effectiveness and toxicity. 150 children will benefit from the research on a new treatment for brain tumours, in 7 European countries.
