On 1 July, Imagine for Margo was delighted to attend the opening of the 15th Mon Toudou Hospital at the American Memorial Hospital in Reims. Led by the Pharmavie Association with the support of AB CFAO, this new space was designed to provide hospitalised children and their families with a warmer, more calming environment throughout their care journey.
Mon Toudou Hospital: A Project Designed to Improve Daily Life for Hospitalised Children
When a child is admitted to hospital, they need medical care, but they also need opportunities to keep playing, learning, sharing and escaping from the challenges of treatment.
This is precisely the aim of the Mon Toudou Hospital programme, led by the Pharmavie Association: to create child-friendly spaces where young patients can spend time together, read, take part in activities or simply enjoy a brief moment of escape between treatments.
In Reims, this new facility includes a welcoming activity room, thoughtfully decorated areas designed to reassure young patients, and equipment chosen to make their hospital stay more comfortable.
Reims Becomes the Third Mon Toudou Hospital of mon Toudou Supported by Imagine for Margo
After Strasbourg and Marseille, Reims has become the third Mon Toudou Hospital supported by Imagine for Margo.
This new achievement marks another step forward in our commitment to improving hospital conditions for children. Beyond medical care, these spaces provide precious moments to breathe, play and spend time together — moments that are essential for young patients and their families.
A Collective Effort for Children
Imagine for Margo is particularly proud to have contributed to this wonderful human initiative alongside the Pharmavie Association.
We would like to warmly thank Pharmavie for its trust and its continued commitment to hospitalised children. This project would also not have been possible without the valuable support of our long-standing partner, AB CFAO.
Thanks to this €75,000 contribution, children receiving care in Reims will now benefit from a space designed for them to play, create, escape from the hospital environment and share meaningful moments with their loved ones, in surroundings better suited to their needs.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the medical teams and staff at the American Memorial Hospital for their warm welcome, their involvement and their daily commitment to young patients and their families.
A Commitment That Goes Beyond Research
For more than fifteen years, Imagine for Margo has been working to accelerate research into childhood cancer, with the aim of providing children with increasingly effective and less toxic treatments.
However, alongside its commitment to research, Imagine for Margo also works to improve children’s daily lives throughout their care journey.
Creating more welcoming spaces, encouraging opportunities for play and escape, and allowing families to share moments of normality all help to make hospital stays more humane.
