A Successful and Heartfelt Start in Brittany for the First Rallye du Coeur

On Saturday, October 4th, 2025, the Domaine du Château de Pommorio hosted the very first edition of the Rallye du Coeur Bretagne. Under a bright Breton sky, passionate drivers, families, children, and volunteers gathered to share an exceptional day filled with hope, solidarity… and heart.

From early morning, participants filled the château grounds with smiles on their faces and hearts wide open. Very quickly, strong bonds were formed between the drivers and the children they were sponsoring — true little warriors who, for one day, set their illness aside to become co-drivers in a magnificent outpouring of hope.

The opening to the public brought a wonderful energy: visitors, families, and car enthusiasts came to admire the vehicles, chat with participants, and learn more about the cause supported by our association.

The elegance contest turned the château’s paths into a real runway: the cars, carefully prepared, paraded before admiring eyes. Gleaming bodies, refined details, timeless lines… this moment celebrated automotive elegance in all its splendor. A joyful and moving parade, where the connection between children and drivers added a beautiful touch of humanity.

Among the crews, some had come with vehicles rich in history. Such was the case of Michel G., who arrived with his 2 CV and a heartfelt motivation:

“Bringing joy to these children who are fighting, seeing their smiles when they get into the 2 CV — that’s the very essence of what I’m here for.”

Smiles continued around an open-air lunch in a festive, convivial atmosphere: food trucks, a guinguette, colorful tablecloths, music, and laughter… The château was transformed into a true place of life, celebration, and generosity.

A Beautiful Getaway Through Brittany in Support of Research

In the early afternoon, the cars set off again for a rally through the region, winding between land and sea. The Breton landscapes rolled by, passers-by waved to the convoy, and the children experienced a magical interlude — far from the daily reality of illness.

Back at the château, the day ended with the awards ceremony and, above all, the presentation of a check for €132,062 to Imagine for Margo — a symbol of sincere, collective commitment to advancing research on childhood and adolescent cancers.

Patricia Blanc, President of Imagine for Margo, expressed heartfelt gratitude:

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Rallye du Coeur team, who have been mobilizing for years with incredible energy and generosity. Seeing this beautiful adventure take root in Brittany is a tremendous source of pride. Thank you to the big-hearted drivers, loyal partners, and dedicated volunteers — you bring smiles to children and hope to their families. Together, we are taking another step toward our dream: a life without cancer for all children.”

The funds raised will help finance, among other things:

  • The PREDCAP program, which aims to better understand genetic predispositions to pediatric cancers;

  • And a Dana Escape weekend, designed to offer parents of sick children a moment of rest, support, and renewal.

For many, this initiative went far beyond a love of cars. As Hervé D. summed it up:

“There’s no better reason to gather than to contribute to children’s well-being. Their health concerns us all, and fundraising is vital for research.”

This first edition of the Rallye du Coeur Bretagne was a profoundly human encounter — full of meaning, emotion, and hope.

A huge THANK YOU to the entire Rallye du Coeur team, without whom these charitable events would not be possible. THANK YOU to the partners of this wonderful event, THANK YOU to the big-hearted drivers for the smiles they bring, and to their donors for their generosity. And finally, a heartfelt THANK YOU to the volunteers for their unwavering dedication.

The fight goes on.
