In 2011, Maleaume was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. 10 years of fighting, many hospital stays and many treatments later the hope of curing the disease is finally here.
Indeed, over the past 5 years, Maleaume’s battle has changed thanks to a major ally: Nivolumab. This drug, which we co-funded, was developed as part of the innovative NIVO-ALCL trial. The goal of this program is to stimulate the immune system of children to fight anaplasic large cell lymphoma.
In order for all children and adolescents with cancer to one day have hope for a cure, like Maleaume, we must continue to mobilize. Together, let’s give them a victory over cancer.
