The year 2025 promises to bring renewed hope to children battling cancer. Through partnerships, groundbreaking collaborations, innovations, and solidarity, we look forward to sharing updates on the daily progress made in fighting the disease. In the meantime, here are our priorities for the coming year.
CONTINUING TO WIN VICTORIES AGAINST CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENT CANCER BY FUNDING RESEARCH
Imagine for Margo: Committed to Supporting French and European Research
Since its founding, our association’s primary objective has been to fund research into pediatric cancers. Once again this year, we will work tirelessly to improve treatment outcomes for children and adolescents.
In addition to our involvement in the Fight Kids Cancer alliance, we will continue to support numerous ambitious projects led by the ITCC and SFCE networks, focusing on understanding and treating the most aggressive forms of cancer (brain tumors, myeloid leukemia, sarcomas, and neuroblastomas). These initiatives, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks, aim to shape a future where curing cancer is a reality for all children.
FIGHT KIDS CANCER: Sustaining €10 Million in Annual Funding for Pediatric Cancer Research
The Fight Kids Cancer alliance, uniting associations from France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, and the Netherlands since 2020, continues its mission to fund research through an annual call for projects. In 2024, we reached the remarkable milestone of allocating €10 million annually to research into brain tumors.
In 2025, our goal is to sustain this funding to send a clear message to researchers: we are here, and we will remain by your side until this scourge is defeated.
Thanks to the ongoing dedication of all the associations involved in Fight Kids Cancer, major high-impact European projects can be launched quickly, ensuring that children and adolescents in urgent need of promising new therapies benefit from research advances as soon as possible.
A New Edition of the Fight Kids Cancer Innovation Grand Prize
The Fight Kids Cancer Innovation Grand Prize, endowed with €1 million and awarded to a researcher in collaboration with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation (USA), will be renewed this year. This exceptional four-year funding initiative aims to address a critical research question to improve treatments for childhood cancers.
EXPANDING INNOVATIVE INITIATIVES
Our president, Patricia Blanc, remains actively involved in major initiatives that bring together key players in cancer research in France and internationally.
In 2025, we will announce concrete results from actions such as Paris Kids Cancer, the Pediatric Task Force of the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster, and two pediatric-focused projects under the Cancer Grand Challenge. Some of these results will be presented during our FAST symposium on February 15, 2025.
Meanwhile, our Strategic Orientation Committee will continue its work, engaging new partners—including startups and biotech companies—to accelerate research and foster innovative solutions for children.
STRENGTHENING COMMUNICATION AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS
Starting mid-January, we will relaunch our awareness campaign with the support of our media partner Mindshare.
On February 15, our FAST symposium on therapeutic innovation in childhood cancers will gather lawmakers, researchers, physicians, pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, families, volunteers, and donors to discuss recent advancements and future challenges.
A second campaign will be launched during “Gold September”, aiming to raise public awareness and mobilize support for the fight against childhood and adolescent cancers. With the backing of our partners, ambassadors, and volunteers, our efforts will continue to push for pediatric cancers to become a national priority.
Throughout the year, every event, every action, and every partnership will be crucial to raising awareness and mobilizing even more people in this fight.
MORE AMBITIOUS EVENTS AHEAD
In 2025, new events will further boost our mobilization.
On February 4, we will launch the second edition of the solidarity raffle “Imagine… On Gagne!”, giving everyone a chance to win amazing trips while supporting the fight against childhood cancer.
The Rallyes du Cœur organized by our partner will expand with two new stages in Brittany and Normandy. These increasingly popular events will continue to champion our cause.

RUNNING FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER: A GROWING MOVEMENT
With two sold-out editions in a row, the Enfants sans Cancer races have proven to be a beacon of hope and solidarity. In 2025, we will continue this momentum with two key events:
- Enfants sans Cancer City on May 27, 2025, in Paris La Défense.
- Enfants sans Cancer at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud and virtually on September 28, 2025.
Our goal remains simple: to increase the number of solidarity runs supporting thousands of children and families fighting cancer. Join us to keep running together against childhood cancer.
WELL-BEING INITIATIVES FOR CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND HEALTHCARE WORKERS
Throughout the year, we will continue to offer workshops in hospitals—including art classes, beauty treatments, and theater and dance sessions—thanks to the generous contributions of our donors and partners.
New “Mon Doudou” Hospitals will benefit from Imagine for Margo’s support, along with renovation projects to improve hospital facilities.
Additionally, magical moments will be provided by our patron, the Garde Républicaine, and various personalities who support our cause, bringing smiles to children battling cancer.
STRENGTHENING OUR STRUCTURE AND FOCUSING ON IMPACT
Following our official recognition as a Public Utility organization in 2024, we will continue to develop corporate partnerships and strengthen our team to support our growing activities.
Selected by Antropia ESSEC’s Scale Up program in 2024, Imagine for Margo will launch a major social impact assessment initiative in 2025, benefiting from expert advice and support from ESSEC’s network of partners.
Moreover, to further amplify our impact, we will launch a transformative initiative focused on creating a sustainable economic model dedicated to pediatric cancer research.
We look forward to presenting these many projects in the coming weeks.
In 2025, we will not give up. We remain firmly committed to moving faster toward a world where all children are cured of cancer.
Together, we will succeed.
The entire Imagine for Margo team wishes you a wonderful 2025!
