FAST Symposium 2026: Research, Innovation, Hope – 15 years of action

Colloque FAST 2026

The must-attend event in the fight against childhood cancer

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, the FAST Symposium will take place at Maison Châteauform’ Metropolitan, located at 13ter boulevard Berthier in Paris’ 17th arrondissement. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this 13th edition will mark a particularly symbolic milestone: 15 years of commitment by Imagine for Margo in the fight against pediatric cancers.

Fifteen years dedicated to research and families

Since its creation, Imagine for Margo has funded 92 French and European research projects for a total of €28 million. These fifteen years of action have supported major scientific advances while also providing support to patients and families facing the challenges of pediatric cancer.

Despite significant progress in the care of children and adolescents with cancer, the needs remain considerable. Pediatric cancer research requires continued support to foster therapeutic innovation and meet the expectations of families.

FAST Symposium 2026 program

Morning session: State of pediatric cancer research

The morning will focus on reviewing research progress and analyzing current needs in the fight against childhood cancers. Three renowned researchers will present their work in key priority areas:

  • Pediatric brain tumors
  • Childhood myeloid leukemias
  • Reducing the side effects of cancer treatments

A roundtable discussion on clinical research will follow these scientific presentations. Although progress has been made in recent years, access to innovative therapies for children with cancer remains insufficient. Discussions will focus on the need to strengthen clinical research centers, accelerate pediatric clinical trials, and improve clinical research funding.

Afternoon session: Patient support and therapeutic innovation

The afternoon will begin with a roundtable dedicated to the needs of patients and families. A pediatric cancer diagnosis has a lasting impact on the lives of the affected child, their parents, and their siblings. This session will explore the psychological and social impact of the disease and discuss practical ways to improve family support across France.

The day will conclude with a discussion on the role of biotech and medtech companies in driving innovation against pediatric cancers. Several success stories will be presented, illustrating how these companies contribute to the development of new treatments. Speakers will also identify key levers to strengthen their impact on pediatric cancer research.
