Every year since 2014, on the occasion of International Cancer Day (February 4, 2024) and International Childhood Cancer Day (February 15, 2024), we launch a major campaign across the country. awareness of childhood cancers.
Our goal: to mobilize and raise awareness, with your help, of millions of French people thanks to the story of Louise, a young warrior who brings you into her life!
Throughout the month of February 2024, find our awareness campaign against pediatric cancers on television, in the cinema, in the press, in the street or on your favorite sites thanks to the generosity of the French media and the loyal support of our Mindshare partner.

WHY MOBILIZE FOR RESEARCH ON CANCER IN CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS?
As Louise’s story in our awareness campaign shows, cancer can happen at any age and at any time of life. Every year, an estimated 400,000 young people are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. There are 100 types of pediatric cancers, different from cancers in adults, which therefore require adapted treatments. However, the lack of funding and synergies are an obstacle to research in pediatric oncology.
In Europe, cancer research is mainly focused on adult cancers, with pediatric cancers being considered rare diseases. Only 10% of children and adolescents in Europe have access to innovative treatments.
In order to change this situation, we work daily to:
- Accelerate research against childhood and adolescent cancer
- Raise awareness among the general public
- Mobilize key health stakeholders
- Improve the well-being of children, their loved ones and caregivers

RUN IN SOLIDARITY AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCERS
During the year 2024, Imagine for Margo invites you to the 5th edition of its Children without Cancer City urban race, on May 30, 2024 on the square in Paris La Défense and for the 13th edition of the Children without Cancer race on September 29, in Saint-Cloud or online, in order to run, together, against the leading cause of death from disease among children over one-year old in France and Europe.
Put on your solidarity sneakers and join the thousands of solidarity runners and walkers to accelerate research. This year, participants will mobilize for new programs resulting from the Fight Kids Cancer call for projects. These will be announced in June 2024. Every year, many big-hearted volunteers organize their own fundraising event to support the fight of our association. In 2023, nearly 200 solidarity events were held for the benefit of Imagine for Margo. BECOME A VOLUNTEER AND TOGETHER LET’S FIGHT AGAINST CHILDhood CANCERS
Throughout the year:
- You can provide your support during events for the benefit of Imagine for Margo: running a stand, communicating about the cause and the association’s actions, collecting donations, selling goodies, logistical help, etc.
- You can support the permanent team in their offices with inventories, stand preparation, administrative or accounting tasks.
- You can become a volunteer on one of our Children without Cancer solidarity races.
